in response to positive thoughts...Yes you were lucky and hope they got the other company that took money from people..take care and is is sunny where you live still??
in response to Starshine...yes luckily for me did. I have now with bank and know they are not going anywhere. Oh I know that company and how they take money and run.
in response to moparnut360...yes please do and I will at my end research further. I know with my mortgage I found out on computer about accredited when they were not renewing mortgages and they did not send me notification that they were doing this. They closed up their business here in Canada. I heard about them through a mortgage broker. Since my mortgage at the time was almost up for renewal i found it wierd that they did not contact anyone. That made me suspcious. I heard here in Canada that they filed bankruptsy. When I finally did find another lender my lawyer at the time had a hard time reaching them as well. Please keep me informed. Thankyou

Is it possiable do they have office where you applied? If so is it possiable to go there. The reason am asking cause long ago I had accredited mortgage which did not turn out very well at the time and was a very difficult company to get a hold of. So if you could please keep in touch let me know how you making out.

This is for anyone who need help with their debt with bills or credit card payments. I will give help and advice on loans for school or just any type of loan. Also information about college or just being a student. The different types of loans, scholarships, and FAFSA, which is goverment money to help to go to school. The process can be a headache..but that's what I am here for. I'm in school right now. So any questions or comments..feel free to leave them!! God Bless!
in response to breitlastmouse...I know with books you can request ones they don't have in the library from other outside branches and it has been a while since rent movies from the library but it seems you can request them from other libraries too.
1) Cut your Cell Phone Bill. Many people are switching to prepaid types of phones, which is an immediate way to start saving money on your cell phone bill. The reason it's easier to save is because you buy minutes as you go, so when you have used all of your minutes, you have to buy a new card or a refill and add more talk time to your phone.
2) Make your own coffee. If you have a coffeemaker, it makes sense to make coffee at home instead of hitting Starbucks for a latte.
3) Cancel Your Cable/Satellite. This will probably cause a knee-jerk reaction with many people, but you can save a lot of money if you cancel your cable.
4) Borders Book Store or the Library? Are you a big reader? If you are, then Borders might be one of your favorite places to visit. Borders is cool because you can go there and read books and magazine while you enjoy coffee. But you don't have to buy anything: you can just browse.
5) Get a Roommate. This might not be possible for people, especially those with one bedroom or families, but if you are paying full rent on an apartment or home, maybe it's time to look for a roommate.
6) Return Stuff. If you bought something three months ago that's still in the box or that you haven't worn, chances are you're not going to use of wear it any time in the near future. Take it back and get money in return. Even if you don't have the receipt any longer. Return it!
7) Get rid of your credit cards. Credit card companies do a lot of things to make it seem like your getting a great deal. With interest rate now, you dont really know what you paying for anymore.
8) Conserve your gas. If you live close to other family members start car pooling. Don't you always seem to see a family member while running errands.
I’ve gotten several email message and phones calls from people wanting to talk about debt. But then one interesting phone call came to me and I was asked. What is debt?
I thought of the question and tried to find a real good answer and this is what I said. “Debt is a way of over extending your spending before you receive money.” The person on the other side of the phone call was happy with the answer but then after I hung up. I started thinking about the question again.
We live, work and play in a society that except us to have everything today. Not yesterday, not tomorrow, but today and because of that we over extend ourselves. We have to have the best, the latest, the newest and grandest before anyone else. We have to show off, be better and be first.
Because of that thinking, we get ourselves in debt. We just have to…
But you must go deeper in your thinking. Is it worth it? Is being in debt worth all the glorified items in your life? Making payment, after payment and after payment for that item to please others or be first or just to have it.
I have to remind everyone that debt is not necessary in your life. It is not that important. You take debt out of your life and your stress level will go down a lot and I do mean a lot. Yes, I do understand that you have to have a car or a home or the clothes that you wear. But anything beyond that is not really necessary.
You must and work hard to get out of debt, no matter at what price. You must change your thinking and live within your means without getting into debt. Don’t worry, that sale will happen again in the future. That lamp, you will find it cheaper somewhere else. Life will go on without you even having to buy that product with a credit card.
I work with cash. If I don’t have the money, that means, I don’t need it. If I want a big ticketed item, I save. I never put it on credit and I don’t buy anything with credit. Yes, I do have a car loan but I double the car payment to get out of that debt faster, as fast as I can. But if I had credit card payment, I would not be able to do that. Can you?
Finally, some help with our credit card debt is on the way.I'm so glad to see the Obama team put limitations on charges, fees, interest, and the big one,NO MORE FINE PRINT!!! Credit card companies have to put everything in simple language,no more legal text that no one can understand.Let's get the ball rolling and help me with my credit card debt.
I travel for work and my job requires me to have a credit card. This card is paid off every month. I have several other debts that I would like to get debt management with somehow, but I am unsure as to how to do that without having to cancel all of my credit cards. I cannot keep my job without the credit card.
Is there anyone out there that knows of a way to handle this?? I'm not behind on anything yet, but I will be within the next couple months. I'm really, really scared right now.

I am a soon to be college graduate, and in the last 4 1/2 years I have occured $8,500 in bills! This may not sound like alot, but I haven't worked much throughout college making it extremely difficult to pay for simple things such as gas, meals, books, etc. The only choice that I had was to put all of my expenses on credit cards. I still would like to attend graduate school, but I feel that the longer I stay in school, the more in debt I'm going to be! Please help me pay off this bills!!
Thank you for all the interest in my aid page. I have been receiving lots of advice. Each week I will put money toward all my credit debts. I will do this on my aid page and update every Sunday. Hopefully they will go down faster with your help. regardless, every extra dime I find is going toward this. I collect cans from family and friends to recycle. I ebay for friends for a percentage of selling price. I even pick up loose change on the ground. I then apply all this extra cash to my bills. I can't wait to see this weeks tally!!!
It is horrible and I feel like everything I do is never good enough! If I did not have a child and another on the way I would have nothing! They are the reason I need help.. I made mistakes and tried to pay to get out but the debt is too large I have lost everything and I still have more fees and more bill collectors. I am very happy that I have my son and girl on the way so I have two reasons to never give up on living and loving. I do not have money for bankruptcy either.. so I just wanted to see what I should do.
